A BRANT continued at the Piute Ponds on Edwards AFB (letter of permission required) through May 19.
A HOODED MERGANSER continued at Franklin Canyon reservoir through May 18.
A WHITE-WINGED DOVE was at the Dominguez Gap Wetlands in Long Beach on May 17.
BLACK SWIFTS included two at the Silverlake reservoir on May 18 and two more in Juniper Hills in the Antelope Valley on May 19
An AMERICAN OYSTERCATCHER was on the Los Angeles River south of Anaheim Street through May 18. Be aware that American x Black Oystercatcher intergrades have been present as well.
One to two NEOTROPIC CORMORANTS continued at Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park in San Dimas through May 19. These birds are generally seen on the buoys near the north shore of the lake.
Another NEOTROPIC CORMORANT continued on the lake at the Sepulveda Basin Wildlife Reserve on May 15
Three YELLOW-CROWNED NIGHT-HERONS were seen at Sims Bio Pond in Long Beach through May 18.
A REDDISH EGRET was at Malibu Lagoon on May 15.
A late NORTHERN HARRIER was at the Ballona Freshwater Marsh through May 15.
A PURPLE MARTIN was along Gorman Post Road just east of Gorman on May 19.
A BLACK-AND-WHITE WARBLER continued at Ken Malloy Harbor Regional Park in Harbor City through May 14.
A SUMMER TANAGER continued at Pearblossom Park in the south Antelope Valley through May 17.
A male ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK was at a residence in La Crescenta from May 15-16.
