This is the Los Angeles Rare Bird Alert for June 6.

At least one INCA DOVE continued in Lake Los Angeles in the east Antelope Valley on June 1 along 169th Street East, north of East Ave N4.

A BLACK SWIFT was at Palma Canyon north of the Padua Theater in Claremont on June 3.

At least one AMERICAN OYSTERCATCHERS continued at Royal Palms Beach in San Pedro through May 27.

Lingering GLAUCOUS-WINGED GULLS were along the LA River at Southern Ave. in South Gate through May 30 and north of the Slauson crossing in Maywood through June 4.

A YELLOW-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON was at the Ballona Creek mouth on May 30.

A RED-EYED VIREO was in Juniper Hills on May 31.

A GRAY CATBIRD was at the southwest corner of Rancho Sierra Golf Course in the east Antelope Valley on May 31.  This is private property, but the perimeter may be birded after asking permission at the club house.

A NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH was at Peck Road Water Conservation Park in Arcadia on June 5 along the channel at the north end willows.

NORTHERN PARULAS were recorded at Mallow Park in Claremont on June 3, along Little Rock Creek near Pearblossom on June 5 (in the riparian patch by Mt. Emma Road and Cheseboro Road) and along Soledad Canyon Road (at the old USFS Wildlife Viewing Area) on June 5.

The GRACE'S WARBLER at Charlton Flat in the San Gabriel Mountains continued through May 30 along the entrance road near the first and second restrooms.

Two singing male SUMMER TANAGERS were below Sycamore Flat Campground along Big Rock Creek near Valyermo on May 30.

Two SUMMER TANAGERS continued at Pearblossom Park in the Antelope Valley through June 4.  They were last seen west of the baseball field.
