This is the Los Angeles Rare Bird Alert for July 16.

Three INCA DOVES were in Lake Los Angeles through July 11.  They were seen and heard at 41116 169th Street East.

Three BLACK SWIFTS were at Table Mountain in the east San Gabriel Mountains on July 11.

A MAGNIFICENT FRIGATEBIRD was reported off Redondo Beach on July 11.

Up to three NEOTROPIC CORMORANTS continued along the lower Los Angeles River around the island just below Willow Street through July 13.

A breeding pair of YELLOW-CROWNED NIGHT-HERONS were along Appian Way at Alamitos Bay through July 10. Another continued at the Ballona Creek mouth through July 14.

A CALIFORNIA CONDOR was observed off the 5 Freeway at Templin Highway on July 10.

A SUMMER TANAGER continued at Crystalaire in Llano through July 14.
