This is the Los Angeles Rare Bird Alert for March 26.

A "EURASIAN" GREEN-WINGED TEAL continued at the San Gabriel Coastal Basin Spreading Grounds in Pico Rivera through March 25.

A WHITE-WINGED DOVE continued in Duarte from March 22 along the Duarte Bike Trail, north of Royal Oaks Drive and near Chimes Ave. Also observed here through March 20 was a ZONE-TAILED HAWK.

Up to three COMMON GROUND DOVES were in Cerritos just south of the Volutone parking lot (west of the 605 Freeway and south of Alondra Blvd.) through March 25.

A first cycle LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL was at Malibu Lagoon on March 22.

NEOTROPIC CORMORANTS included up to 17 birds continuing at Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park in San Dimas through March 25, with another continuing at the Earvin Magic Johnson Recreation Area in Willowbrook on March 21.

An AMERICAN BITTERN continued at the Piute Ponds on Edwards AFB through March 24. A letter of permission is required for entry.

Three YELLOW-CROWNED NIGHT-HERONS were at Sims Bio Pond in Long Beach through March 25.

A ZONE-TAILED HAWK was in San Dimas along Shadyglen Lane on March 20 and another was over Altadena also on March 20.

A NORTHERN "YELLOW-SHAFTED" FLICKER continued at Henrietta Basin in Torrance through March 19.

A DUSKY-CAPPED FLYCATCHER was at Lake Balboa in the San Fernando Valley on March 20 and another was southwest of the tennis courts at Runnymeade Park in Winnetka on from March 22-23.

The DUSKY-CAPPED FLYCATCHER at Heartwell Park in Long Beach continued through March 22. It has been in the area northwest of the corner of Parkcrest St. and Woodruff Ave.

The GREATER PEWEE at Lacy Park in San Marino was seen through March 22. It has most often been seen on the north side of the park.

A TROPICAL KINGBIRD continued at Entradero Park in Torrance through March 23 near the pond.

A HAMMOND'S FLYCATCHER continued in the northeast part of Pan American Park in Lakewood through March 22 and another continued at Carr Park in Glendale through March 24.

A DUSKY FLYCATCHER (through March 21) and an ASH-THROATED FLYCATCHER (through March 21) both continued at Willow Springs Park in Long Beach. They have been in the central part of the park near the western perimeter.

The EASTERN PHOEBE at the Bette Davis Picnic Area in Glendale was reported through March 22. It is most often seen in the Los Angeles River channel at the Riverside Drive crossing, but sometimes wanders into the park proper.

A WHITE WAGTAIL in Vernon continued through March 21. It has been both upstream and downstream from the Downey Road crossing. Park on Charter Street just south of the river and walk north along Downey Road to get to the river.

Two CLAY-COLORED SPARROWS continued at Vina Vieja Park in Pasadena (at the south end of the dog park) through March 20. Another continued at Griffith Manor Park in Glendale through March 18.

A DARK-EYED "GRAY-HEADED" JUNCO and a DARK-EYED "PINK-SIDED" JUNCO continued in Juniper Hills through March 20.

Another DARK-EYED "PINK-SIDED" JUNCO continued at Sailboat Cove at Bonelli Regional Park in San Dimas through March 22.

WHITE-THROATED SPARROWS continued at a residence in Valley Village through March 25, at Horsethief Canyon Park in San Dimas through March 21 (by the dog park), at Hopkins Wilderness Park in Redondo Beach through March 22 and at Ken Malloy Harbor Regional Park in Harbor City through March 25 (northwest of the lake by the "Life on the Lake" sign).

The West San Gabriel River Parkway Nature Trail in Lakewood continued to host a GREEN-TAILED TOWHEE through March 24. The bird has been between Seaborn Street and Fairman Street.

Up to ten YELLOW-HEADED BLACKBIRDS were at the Ballona Freshwater Marsh near Playa del Rey through March 22.

BLACK-AND-WHITE WARBLERS continued at Madrona Marsh in Torrance though March 25, at the West San Gabriel River Parkway Nature Trail in Lakewood through March 24 and at the west end of the Bette Davis Picnic Area in Glendale through March 21.

A PALM WARBLER was at a residence west of downtown Los Angeles on March 19.
